ABOUT STONY MOUNTAIN RANCH
This small family-owned-and-operated farm tucked away on 28 acres in the lovely hills of Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, offers some of the best red meat, pork, and poultry we’ve ever eaten. Owners Carl and Esther Swartzentruber and their children raise only premium Piedmontese cattle, which naturally produce meat that’s higher in protein and lower in fat, cholesterol, and calories than traditional beef. No wonder it’s served at some of the country’s most upscale restaurants.
Of course, the way Stony Mountain’s animals are raised also plays a big part. All of their cows, pigs, and chickens are completely grass-fed, pastured, and able to roam freely around the farm. It’s a significant commitment, but the Swartzentruber’s wouldn’t have it any other way.
